Born and raised in Fort Atkinson, Taylor joined Noel Schopen in 2015 to create an enjoyable environment where clients can receive objective advice and build a long lasting relationship with a trusted firm. Prior to 2015 Taylor spent his time at Ernst and Young, a public accounting firm in Milwaukee.
Taylor is a graduate of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, with a degree in Finance, Accounting, and International Business. While there he graduated with distinction, in the top 5% of his class, and started a nonprofit called U-Finance which installed financial systems for local nonprofits in the Twin Cities Area. It was named the most philanthropic nonprofit out of 600 at the University of Minnesota. It was there that Taylor realized he enjoyed helping people navigate their financial world.
He holds the CPA designation and passed the CFP® exam in November 2016 – exemplifying his commitment to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in the industry. He is currently a candidate for CFP® Board's certification. Less than 5% of financial advisors and CPAs hold both designations in the industry.* Taylor’s commitment to his clients is that he will never stop learning.
In his free time, Taylor enjoys running, exploring new restaurants with his wife, spending time with family, and navigating the joys and perils of being a first time parent!
